Countdown to 2017

December 12, 2016

It's finally here! Please take a few minutes to look over our 2017 Dojo Holiday Newsletter. Not only does it have information on all of the great things that happened at the Dojo in 2016, it's also got the 2017 Calendar, holiday closure information, and some great photos! Click Here to view the newsletter.

In other news, Congratulations to our November 2016 Student of the Month, Blake M.! Bake will have more chances to earn SOTM next year in the Juniors class. Great work!

This Saturday (12/17) is the Dojo Family Potluck from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, right after Juniors group class ends. Come chill with the Instructors and all of your Dojo Family as we celebrate another awesome year of training, competing, and becoming better martial artists! Sign up on the list at the front desk to bring your favorite dish or drinks to share. All of our students and their families are invited to attend. We'll see you there!

As a reminder, the Dojo will be closed from Saturday, December 24th through Saturday December 31st so that our students and Instructors can spend the holidays with their families. If you have private lessons scheduled during this time, or if you plan on being out of town before or after the holiday break, please see your instructor to reschedule any missed lessons for a more convenient date.

I for one am not sad to see 2016 come to an end. Not just because it's been an... "interesting" year, but also because the New Year always brings with it the opportunity to reflect back on the goals we achieved, and the ones we can work harder to reach going forward. At the Dojo, a New Year means more opportunities to push our students and Instructors to become the best that they can be, and to have a little fun with our Dojo Family while we train hard and stay focused on our goals.

From all of us at USSD Martial Arts San Clemente, we wish you and your family a very Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
