Spring 2017 Dojo Tournament!
The Dojo Tournament is an In-House Tournament held here at the Dojo for USSD San Clemente students ONLY. Students ages 4 and up compete in exciting Sparring, Katas (Forms), and Grappling events in a fun and safe atmosphere, cheered on by friends and family.
This competition is open to all of our Adult, Teen, Junior, and Lil Dragon students from White to Black Belt (Competitors will be split up into divisions based on age and rank).
For our adult students, tournament competition will help you to measure your own improvement and sharpen your Martial Arts skills. For kids, it’s a great way to learn about the importance of Goal-setting and Sportsmanship, and competing in a fun and safe environment helps boost students’ Confidence and Self-Esteem. It’s also a great way for parents to measure the improvement their child has made in different areas of his/her training, and for friends and family to show their support for the students!
Students who regularly compete in Tournaments also tend to have an easier time remembering and applying their techniques, and it’s one of the best ways to prepare them for future Belt Tests, as well as the upcoming USSD Grand Championship Tournament in June. Trophies and Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division! The cost is only $25 to compete in all 3 events. Adult spectator tickets are just $4 and kids 12 and under spectator tickets are FREE.
To register, Click Here to print the DT registration form, fill it out, and return it to the Dojo no later than Monday, April 10th. Forms can also be found on the front desk at the Dojo.
