Summer is giving us its last hurrah with this heatwave, and Fall is almost here. That means shaking the sand out of our ears and getting back on schedule. There are always tons of exciting and important events going on at the Dojo, plus school and other sports, all on top of the looming holiday season. So check out what we've got coming up over the next few months to make sure you mark your calendars and don't miss out on any of the good stuff!

First up, Congratulations are in order for our August 2017 Student of the Month, Kylie M.! Kylie might have to get banned from winning this award again, since she's already won it several times (just kidding). Great work, Kylie!

This Monday, 9/4 the Dojo will be closed in observance of Labor Day. If you or your child has a Private Lesson scheduled for that day, your Instructor will be happy to reschedule it for you for another convenient date and time.

The big news of September is The Fall 2017 Dojo Tournament coming up on Saturday, 9/23! This is an in-house tournament open to all of our students ages 5 and up, White Belt to Brown Belt. This will be our last Dojo Tournament of 2017, and the last opportunity for students to compete in Katas (Forms), Sparring, AND Grappling events. Events are split up into divisions by age and rank, and we highly recommend that all of our students participate in this event.
