Photos from the Fall 2018 Dojo Tournament have been posted to our Facebook and Instagram!

Registration for the Fall 2018 Dojo Tournament is here!

The Dojo Tournament is an In-House Tournament held here at the Dojo for USSD San Clemente students ONLY. Students ages 5 and up compete in exciting Sparring, Katas (Forms), and Grappling events in a fun and safe atmosphere, cheered on by friends and family.

This competition is open to all of our Teen, Junior, and Lil Dragon students from White to Black Belt (Competitors will be split up into divisions based on age and rank).

For kids, it’s a great way to learn about the importance of Goal-setting and Sportsmanship, and competing in a fun and safe environment helps boost students’ Confidence and Self-Esteem. It’s also a great way for parents to measure the improvement their child has made in different areas of his/her training, and for friends and family to show their support for the students!

Students who regularly compete in Tournaments also tend to have an easier time remembering and applying their techniques, and it’s one of the best ways to prepare them for future Belt Tests, as well as the upcoming USSD Winter Grand Championship Tournament on December 8th.

Trophies and Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division!

The cost is $25 to compete in all 3 events. Adult spectator tickets are $4 and kids 12 and under spectator tickets are FREE.

Beginning immediately following the morning Tournament events, we'll be celebrating the Grand Opening of our brand new Dojo with a Brazilian Barbecue! Join us for meat hot off the grill, cold drinks, and more. BBQ tickets are $5 for adults and FREE for all tournament competitors and kids under 12.

To register to compete or to RSVP for the Grand Opening, Click Here to print the DT registration form, fill it out, and return it to the Dojo no later than Friday, September 14th. Forms can also be found on the front desk at the Dojo.

We can't wait for another exciting day of competition and celebration! Be sure to check us out on Facebook and Instagram for photos and live streams from the event!
