Back-to-School Business

Summer may be over, but back-to-school doesn't have to be a bummer! It may take another week (or two) before we're all back in the swing of it, but hopefully your martial arts training

schedule has made the transition a little easier. With the coming of Fall, we all know that it's basically a straight shot from here to the end of the year, and in between all of the holidays, school events, and sports, we've got a lot of great stuff coming up at the Dojo to make the most of the last few months of 2019. Here's a look at what's coming up in September.

First off, congratulations to our August 2019 Student of the Month, Samaira L.! Great work, Samaira!

Last month we also had our second-to-last Kids Belt Test of the year! Congratulations to Justin N., Taylor M., Hannah A., Vanessa O., Catalina O., and Shane D.! Running "THE HILL" in August is no joke, and you guys pushed through to earn those new ranks anyway! Click here to head over to our Facebook page to see the rest of the photos from the August Kids Test.

And just in case you missed it, we posted a full breakdown with links to tons of photos and videos from our Bully Blockers Summer Camp! Click Here to check it all out. Registration for Bully Blockers Ninja Camp 2020 begins in February.

This month we'll be shaking the sand out of everyone's ears and getting back in the swing of things with group and private training. Coming up next month is the Fall 2019 Dojo Tournament (post with details and registration coming soon), followed by the final Belt Tests of the year in early November, so let's all try to get back on a regular training schedule now that summer vacation is over. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to see a full calendar of all of our major events coming up between now and New Year's.

We're also shooting for a fun and friendly game of Dojo Paintball on Saturday, September 28th at the Camp Pendleton Paintball Park. All of our Adult and Teen students and their families are invited to come and play. Our Juniors students are also invited but must be accompanied by a parent. We need at least 15 players to secure a private group, so look for the sign up sheet at the front desk in the Dojo and mark yourself down. All equipment can be rented at the park, so no need to buy a gun or any gear; the cost is $40 per person for rentals, 500 paintballs, and a half day of play (9:00 am - 1:00 pm). We hope to see you there!

Check out the Fall/Winter 2019 Dojo Calendar below so you can print it and stick it on your fridge or set your calendar alerts! Let's make the most of these last few months of the decade and set ourselves up to hit those 2020 #DojoGoals by wrapping up our 2019 Dojo goals if you haven't already. Have a great September and we'll see you in the Dojo!
